I frequently come up with scribblings deemed, at the time, to be too lengthy for OMWB. Most of these remain unfinished and thus never see the light of day - I tend to run out of steam pretty quickly when faced with the discipline of producing a cohesive, conventional piece. I'm good for the two paragraph sprint of the internet, but haven't got the stamina for long distance.
A few slip through, though, and they'll live here for the time being. Where they've appeared in print, the text here is my original, unedited submission and this will differ slightly from the published version.
