Peco Points

Peco Points

Love it or hate it, Peco's trackwork is the most widely available in the UK, inevitably putting in an appearance on the vast majority of layouts built. In 4mm scale (and I use that description loosely due to the non-scale liberties taken with 'OO' track) they offer a broadly similar selection of products in both their older code 100 and more recent code 75 ranges.

I'm only covering Peco's code 75 electrofrog points here. I wouldn't recommend insulfrog points at all - current collection will be poorer and the wiring is no simpler unless you're cutting corners. Neither would I recommend code 100 these days - it looks much cruder and the larger gaps make for less reliable running. If you've already got it, then fair enough, but if you're starting from scratch - don't even think about it.
